As we get underway with 2019, we have lots of changes coming up, and lots to share with you.
Last Sunday Paul announced that Nelly Davis, our Seniors' Minister, will be retiring at Easter this year. We want to thank her so much for all she has poured into the Senior's ministry at Christ Church and wish her well for her retirement - thankfully she and Chris will still be around, as members of our Church. The PCC will be reviewing this ministry and looking at next steps, at their next meeting on 28th January.
Vacancies at Christ Church Clifton
Associate Vicar – we are re-advertising for the role of Associate Vicar at Christ Church. This is the third time of advertising, so we are praying for a good number of applicants and that the Lord will lead us to the right appointment. The closing date for applications is Monday 4th February and interviews will be held on Sunday 24th – Monday 25th February.
Coffee Shop Manager – Hannah Parsons has done an amazing job as our Coffee Shop Manager over the last 18 months, so it’s with mixed emotions that we heard this week that the Lord is calling her into a new job. Her last day with us will be Friday 8th February so we are now actively looking for a replacement for her. The closing date for applications is Thursday 7thFebruary.
Personal Assistant to Paul – The PCC approved this new part-time post last year to support Paul in his role as our Vicar and to provide a contact point for people who need to get in touch with him. The closing date for applications is Thursday 21st February.

Wholeness
Our new teaching series on Sundays is under the theme of 'Journey into Wholeness'. We are looking at the book of Ephesians at the 10, and 1 John 4 at the 5. You can watch the video which introduces this here. You can also catch up with the latest sermons and resources on the website, here.
Clifton Suspension Bridge this weekend
Closed to road traffic as work to the new toll houses begins - Saturday, January 19, 2019 - 08:00 to Sunday, January 20, 2019 - 18:00 A diversion route will be signed, using Bridge Valley Road, Brunel Way and A369 Rownham Hill.
