Latest News - 8th September

Welcome to another update of all that's going on in the life of Christ Church. This week, we're saying farewell to Bishop Mike, and there's news of our Harvest Lunch and Hospitality Sunday. But first, it was great to be able to share with Tim and Kate Meathrel at Tim's Induction as Vicar of Emmanuel Northwood on Tuesday night...

Tim writes ..."a massive thankyou to all who came ... your love, friendship and support mean so much to Kate and I and you being there made the evening very special".

Goodbye Bishop Mike

This coming Sunday we will be saying goodbye to Bishop Mike and Anthea, and thanking them for their years of friendship and fruitful ministry amongst us.  Bishop Mike will be preaching at The 10 and following the gathering we will be having special refreshments and a chance to say goodbye.

Hospitality Sunday… Coming Soon

Hospitality Sunday.png

Hospitality Sunday on 5th November is a Sunday in which we are all being encouraged to intentionally invite both those we know and those we don't to have either lunch, afternoon tea, a drink after the 5, or something else.  It's up to you and it's a great way to get to know each other better as a church family.

Finally…

A reminder to all dads that Men Behaving Dadly is back in the Crypt at Christ Church from 9:30am tomorrow morning. There will be toys for the kids, coffee, bacon butties (or veggie alternative) and papers for the dads. (Note, in October we’ll be meeting on Sat 14th Oct).
